It was an amazing and exhausting trip; we hardly stayed anywhere longer than a few days, which meant that we saw lots, from music festivals to traditional markets, art to architecture, the hustle and bustle of life in cities to the natural beauty and tranquillity of the countryside.

Backing up Your Data

in General

Imagine that your computer (or phone, or tablet) suddenly stops working. What happens to all of your data? Your family photos, your budget planning spreadsheet, that novel you've been working on? For too many people this would mean that everything is gone, and getting it back may be impossible. Backing up your data is like having an insurance policy on it: if something goes wrong, you have a chance to recover.

What Makes a Great Picture?

in Photography

Have you ever looked at two fairly similar pictures where one looks "better" than the other, but you haven't been able to quite put your finger on why that is? Have you ever taken a picture and wondered how you might be able to make it look better?
